That's true. Years back I was pretty sure Griffey Jr. had the best shot at breaking Hank's record, and then his body started to fall apart.
I've heard that steroids added an average of 10 to 12 home runs a year to a player.
If you added an average of 10 hr's a year to Hank Aaron's totals, he would have had 995 home runs.

I wonder what Ted Williams batting average could have been if he was juiced. .450? .475?

The funniest thing I've heard today was on the radio. They were posing the question, what would you ask A-Rod if you were at the press conference.
Best question: A-Rod when did steroids start affecting your eye sight? Was it in October or when you left your wife for Madonna?
